Shiga Prefecture is an inland prefecture in the northeastern part of Japan and Kinki region with Lake Biwa. The prefectural office is located in Otsu City. The population of 14.13 million people is the tenth narrowest in the whole country. Mountains and mountains surround the surroundings, and Lake Biwa and the Omi basin spread in the center.
